Interlocking V-type wires.

Our interlocking system was patented under the name Original System Damgaard. Interlocking wires are significantly stronger than non-interlocking alternatives. The Original System Damgaard was developed for the processing of heavily contaminated natural and recycled fibres, and had a base height of 2.2 mm.

Lightweight base height to 1.5 mm

For synthetic fibre applications it proved possible to reduce the base height to 1.5 mm. This economical, light-weight (LW) solution weighs 30 percent less than the 2.2 mm version and is suitable for less heavily contaminated fibres, provided metal detectors and electronically controlled feed rollers are also installed.
