DAMGAARD thanks all the customers from India, Pakistan and Bangladesh for visiting us at our stall during the ITME 2004 in Mumbai. Of course, another big „thank you“ is dedicated to the staff of our representative Trimurti Agencies, especially Mr. Raman Malhotra.

The success of this exhibition is a result of the kind atmosphere and the fine co-operation with the other companies that are represented in India by Trimurti Agencies.

For Mr. Hof, who has travelled the Indian market for Reiners & Fürst for many years, this ITME was the last exhibition before he resigned from business in the end of 2004 due to his age.

We wish him all the best and all the health he needs in his coming life period.

For his successor, Mr. Helli, who has been on the ITME 2004 also, DAMGAARD wishes a prosperous time with Reiners & Fürst.

ITCE 2005 in Cairo

On the 9th ITCE 2005 in Cairo, Egypt, from the 12th until the 15th of May, DAMGAARD will inform all Egyptian textile experts about the complete sector of card clothing and mounting equipment for all carding machines. We will attend the stall of our Egyptian representative.

A part of our sales team from our main office in Germany and some staff of our agency will be available for customer discussions and information.

DAMGAARD invites all our customers and everybody, who is interested in the textile sector ... and we promise that we will take our time for discussing technical problems with you and we will try to serve your wishes. For DAMGAARD, each customer is not just a customer – it is a special customer.

At present a substantial amount of inventory is being prepared to be stored in our new facility thus will ensure that we can deliver card wire to our Northamerica customers with reliable service and continuity.
The first containers are being under way and due to constant customer inquiries most of the wire in route are already sold, additionally we offer service of reclothing of individual rolls, a complete service station is presently being installed and should be ready within short.

In future month we will also offer on site mobile reclothing of complete carding lines with quality card wire and reliable service on demand. Damgaard Northamerica, Inc. along with its exclusive representative Arcadia Textile Machinery, Inc. will operate under the direction and guidance of Damgaard GmbH with its headquarter in Lagerfeld Germany.

Damgaard has become main supplier for the exhibition machine of NOWO Textile, Finnland

On the ITMA 2003 in Birmingham NOWO Textile has presented their carding machine NOWO CARDA. This machine is completely fitted with interlocking card clothing, manufactured by DAMGAARD.

This clothing contains our newly developed wire for condensor rollers. On a working width of 2.300 mm, Nowo Textile processed siliconized PES 7dtex, 51-64 mm fibre length for quilts.

Jubilee

On the first of August Wolfgang Wimmer celebrated his 20th jubilee in this company. After he finished his business education at a local weaving company and after he has solved the army, he took over the internal administration of the purchase department.

Because of the communicative skills of Mr. Wimmer and due to his supreme efforts, the responsibility for the international markets was transferred to him. From October 1997 on, Mr Damgaard appointed
Mr. Wimmer for the second Managing director.
